Final Destination: Maubeuge!

We have noticed that, since we have launched the Coup de Pousse’s website, many of you were coming from United States, England and other English speaking countries. Fantastic!

That’s why we decided to create an article for you guys, explaining our motivations and goals.

“Coup de Pousse” is a non-profit organization, created by 6 students of IÉSEG School of Management, that fights for the conservation of the environment, by helping cities that were devastated by storms and thunders. Our first mission will take place in Maubeuge, a pretty big town (120 000 inhabitants) located in the North of France, where more than 700 houses and a big part of their forests were destroyed, last August 2008.

We chose to act, by planting more than 2000 trees for the first plantation that will happen on the 20^th of March.

“Coup de Pousse” also needs your help. As you can see on the website, we displayed a Paypal platform (and a Moneybookers one) where you can make a donation to the organization. We would be glad to refer you as a donator by naming you in our convention.
